Two weeks to go

There are less than two weeks to start Alag Horse Trials. After the first, successful competition of last year, the next high-level international event will be organized on the weekend of 25-26 May in three categories (CIC*/**/***). This will be the first ever international 3-star eventing competition of Hungary.

A total of 55 combinations from four nations have been registered by the organizers. Ten of them - four from Austria; two-two from Czech Republic, from Germany and from host Hungary - will be competing for the CIC*** category in Budapest and in Dunakeszi-Alag. The preliminary entry lists can be downloaded from here: CIC*, CIC**, CIC***.

This year, the competition will be organized on two days, starting with dressage and jumping in the Kincsem Park, horse racing venue of Budapest, and will be continued with cross country phase on the wonderful sandy ground of the Alag Racecourse and Training Center in Dunakeszi-Alag. The timetable will be available on our website.

There will be an online coverage on the website of Kincsem Park on Saturday and Sunday.

The Ground Jury will be made up of Christina Klingspor (SWE), who judged at the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event a few weeks ago, along with Carlheinz Boess (GER) and Lajos Nagy (HUN). Andrew Griffiths (GBR) will be technical delegate with the help of Hungarian assistant Sándor Fülöp. The beautiful cross country course on a perfect footing is designed by Ronald Alexander (GBR) with the assistance of the constructor Ákos Jobbik (HUN).
