  We have the pleasure to invite you to Alag Horse Trails. After the first, successful competition of last year, the next high-level international event will be organized on the weekend of 25-26 May in three categories (CIC*/**/***). This will be the first ever international 3-star eventing competition of Hungary.

  Further to many requests of information on the Eventing Rules 2013, published on the FEI website, the Eventing Committee have issued the following guidance notes to answer the most frequently asked questions.
  We hope that the following will allow easier reference to the changes and new concepts that have been included in the 2013 Rules.
  
  
   

• Event Riders Association meets FEI to discuss rules changes

  
  Representatives from the Event Riders Association met with Giuseppe Della Chiesa, Chair of the FEI Eventing Committee, and Catrin Norinder, FEI Director Eventing & Olympic in London (GBR) on 6 December 2012 to talk through changes to the FEI Eventing Rules that will be implemented from 1 January 2013.

• 

  Microchipping 2013

  
  Please be reminded that commencing on the 1 January 2013, all horses registering with the FEI for the first time must be microchipped. This decision was taken at the 2011 FEI General Assembly in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). The microchip must be compatible with the ISO 11784 and ISO 11785 and the information must also be entered into the horse’s passport and supplied at the time of requested registration.
